Privacy Policy

Information we collect

We do not require an account to read guides on this site, and we do not collect payment information anywhere on the site. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) are recorded automatically for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.

If you use our contact form, we store the name, email address, subject, and message you submit, along with your IP address and browser user agent, so we can respond and screen for spam. We don't sell or share this information with third parties.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site — which guides are read, how long visitors stay, and what device or browser they're using. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information; it doesn't tell us who you are personally.

Google's own privacy policy explains what Google does with this data: policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser's privacy settings.

Advertising

NineBar does not currently run advertising or advertising cookies. If that changes, this page will be updated first to describe what's used and how to opt out.

Children's privacy

NineBar is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we've collected information from a child under 13, we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes — for example, if we add advertising or a new analytics or data-collection feature. The last-updated date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
